At Petrolhead Classics, we believe that an immaculate restoration requires not only craftsmanship, but also highly detailed knowledge about a particular brand and model. That is why we offer in-house restorations of classic Mercedes only.  We specialise in the types W121 BII (190 SL), W113 (230-280 SL 'Pagoda') and, in particular cases, related models. While respecting the wishes of our clients, our aim is always to restore a car to original condition. Thus, we replicate the production technologies used by the Mercedes factories in period, whenever possible and are in close contact with Mercedes Classic. We restore all original parts that can be reclaimed, or reproduce them to original specification. Parts sourced are either new old stock, from Mercedes Classic or leading specialists.

We also offer full refurbishment of all mechanical components of the above mentioned Mercedes models, such as engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes and steering. One speciality is the rebuild of Bosh mechanical fuel injection pumps, used on most classic Mercedes six-cylinder engines  from the sixties onwards.

For other makes and models, our international network of craftsmen, enables us to select and supervise the restoration of your classic. Particularly classic Porsche of the types 356 and 911, where we have a close cooperation with leading specialists.
